Under difficult political and administrative local constraints, we manage to know the city Mayor and his decisions making persons and got the approval for building the restaurant in association with the Local Council of Bacau.

Suceava McDonald’s Central

A city with big historical inheritance was initially perceived as not willing to accept any modern life symbol as MCD stand’s for in the central part of the city. Convincing the architect of the city that MCD is not only a fast food symbol but also is delivering a culture a way of living, was a challenging job which I found very exciting. In the end, I manage to get the chief architect to sustain MCD project in the Central Park of Suceava. To decrease the risk we conclude the partnership agreement for building in common an MCD restaurant and sharing the benefits and risks of operating it in Suceava.

McDonald’s Mall Bucharest

An investment with high percentage rent but this project was possible to be build to my personal willingness to start a project in which I believed and proved to be profitable also for the MCD. The reticence of the MCD was based on higher than ever rent charged on Mall locations, but the Bucharest Mall project started a history which created the reference for signing the future instore locations.

The first acquisition of land in Romania was Virtutii project, the first concession in Romania was for MCD Galati.
